MANATEE LODGE 2008 - 2009 PACKAGE RATES
All package prices are per person, double occupancy and in US dollars.

*Round trip transfer to/from Belize City
One way is by boat and is a tour in and of itself through the picturesque inland waterways of Belize with a stop at Birds Caye in route.
Return trip is by road with a visit to the charming Belize Zoo where one can see fine examples of indigenous wildlife.
*All meals: Dinner on arrival/3 meals per day during your stay/ breakfast before departure, 9% tax and 10% gratuity
Meals are homemade here and include fresh baked breads and other goodies.
Breakfast includes fruit plate, meal, juice and tea or coffee.
Lunch is served in the dining room or packed to carry based on days' activities.
Dinner is 3 Course: soup or salad, main dish, dessert, and coffee or tea
*Accommodations - double occupancy in
spacious, well appointed rooms with hot water private baths, 24 hr electricity, fans and comfortable beds. (our water is potable right from the tap)
*Tours: Each day of your stay excepting arrival and departure days,
enjoy your choice from our selection of tours - a different tour each day.
Please note that tours marked with an astrix in the rate section may carry a surcharge.
Trips-tours and transfers are weather and time permitting. Manatee Lodge and their representatives reserve the right to make the final decision regarding any and all trips.
It is the most rare and unusual conditions that would ever have us cancel a tour however, we have your safety in mind always. Our experienced professional captain and the management therefore always make the final call.

Confirming Reservations:
A non-refundable deposit of one nights stay is required to reserve a room.
$100. per person to confirm packages. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. If you need to cancel, we will refund all but your deposit if we are able to resell your room.

Manatee Lodge offers eight large guest rooms that each comfortably accommodate up to four people. Every room is situated to catch the near constant cross water breeze and features 24 hr. electricity and hot water baths with private modern bathrooms in each.
Rooms vary in configuration with double beds, twin beds and bunks to suit guests.

The Free Stuff
We want all of the guests to enjoy the natural beauty which abounds here and so offer a variety of tours and also "do it yourself" activities.
Complimentary unlimited use of canoes and sailboats are one way guests enjoy themselves at no extra cost.
Swimming in the warm shallow waters which surround the Lodge or joining in a good ole fashioned game of water volleyball (really fun) is recommended.
Fly casting off one of our piers is enjoyable, relaxing and sometimes exciting (one of our guests landed a 35# tarpon off of the back pier at night).
Not to be missed is peaceful relaxation in one of the extra large hammocks on the veranda with a cold drink and a good book. Please feel free to borrow one of ours from the lending library in the great room.
Also, Gales Point Manatee Village is a very friendly and interesting place. We encourage guests to take a stroll or ride a bike into the village to meet our neighbors.

All escorted tours include licensed guide.
Our particularly talented neighbors Emmeth Young and Randolph (Boombay) Andrewin are expert drummers who make and sell drums, lessons and demonstrations.
Try a cappuccino at the Sugar Shack, hang out at the Cool Spot, browse at local crafts, sample local wines or simply talk with villagers.
